Okay, sorry, not trying to be snotty. You have my sympathy because as I said above, I have to have connection to The Internets since I work from home.

for both cable and internet. Occasionally it goes out (not often though), and when it does, even if only for an hour or so, they credit me a full day of service for the inconvenience. It's really a pisser for me when it goes out, as I work from home and need the internet.

7. I've had them for a couple of years and drops outs are rare. |
|
There's a way to poll your modem (sorry I don't know how) to see what the power level is. Maybe that's it. The only thing I get is an occasional assignment to a bad IP address, so I then have to power the modem off for a few minutes.
I don't like comcast and the price is high, but I'm hooked until we get dsl fiber on the block.

8. I just got them after having Roadrunner for several years (moved) |
|
and before that, I had Qwest DSL for several years before that. I haven't noticed too much difference with Comcast. All big media/communications monopolies suck ass, but what can you do?

9. I have them and don't have very much trouble. |
|
It's way better than when I had Qwest DSL - that was a POS service.
Call and complain, and then keep calling and complaining. Good luck.

I have no problems with my connection. Occaisional yes, like anything, but quite rare.

12. They've already replaced my modem once. |
|
Service is better but it's not great, especially considering the price.
