3. I don't know if I want to hear Rodgers sing "Bohemian Rhapsody"...
Here are the two sides of the story, as I see it:

1. "Queen is not Queen without Freddie" (that's the side I tend to agree with)

2. The surviving members of Queen are working musicians, and in order to eat, they have to work.

I also am a fan of Free / Bad Company, so coming from that angle, I'm not really thrilled with Rodgers' current career path. I'm thinking of Krusty the Clown's remark on "The Simpsons" regarding his decision to endorse a line of poorly-made products: "They drove a big truck of money up to my front door...what was I SUPPOSED to do?"

I always thought that Freddie Mercury carved a truly unique place for himself in rock history and hate to see it diminished by what is essentially a "covers band"...kind of like Ian Asterbury of The Cult fronting "The Doors."

2. That's NOT Queen-- Who's Paul Rogers, anyway?
No Freddie (may he rest in peace), no Queen.

5. Paul Rodgers, vocalist of Free and Bad Company...
...and another thing that I don't like about this new CD is the inclusion of songs from BOTH of those bands ("All Right Now," "Feel Like Making Love")...OBVIOUSLY a concession to Rodgers on the songwriting royalties generated from the CD's sale.

Below: Rodgers (top right) with Queen.

7. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
I'd think it would be the opposite...post the clips, create a buzz...

I'm surprised by some of the "fan sites" saying how grate this is, how they are grateful to Brian May for "finally giving them the chance to see Queen"...
