What have YOU done to or for a cat today?
I fed a cat. I petted a cat. I played with a cat. I gave a cat some treats. I still need to scoop the cat's poop.

7. slept with them, petted them, let them flex their claws in my flesh...
...fed them, watered them, did the greeting ritual when I came home, and have one in my lap right now while I'm typing this.

8. I kicked a cat today!
I didn't mean to but Flea Taxi decided to run underfoot. He was just glanced in the head by my bare foot. He is fine and learning what not to do.

10. I've petted both of our indoor cats
and both of our outdoor cats, fed them all, given them fresh water, and cleaned the litter boxes. Stoops is sleeping about two feet away from me as I post this.

Oh, I also peeled Renfield, my 5 month old male kitten, off her face.

12. Petted, played with, gave catnip to, fed, watered both my boys
They rassled around the floor for a while, but now they've finally settled down for the night. Maybe I can get some sleep then...

13. Petted, scooped poop, fed,
and looked for the lost one. Still lost.

And fed the barn cats, who look a little skinny.

18. Gave them their moist food, freaked Neo out with a squishy worm toy that
glows, broke up some growly pre-fight posturing, and had Neo run up to me and bite my knuckle for no reason whatsoever a few minutes ago. And called Urdie my li'l pudd'n. (And here comes Neo as I type; he doesn't even like it when I *write* about Urd. Big jealous baby.)

19. I petted and talked to him. I put his laundry basket (his beloved bed*)
back up on the chaise lounge for him.

*This cat loves laundry baskets. He has a special cat bed that he ignores in favor of my old laundry basket with a blanket inside it. Any time laundry is done, he will jump inside the basket and lay on the freshly washed laundry. Silly cat.

put neosporin on his throat where he scratched himself...

What more can I do?

23. Petted, sang to, fed and brushed.
The Seamussongs are always in the air here, something about him just calls for spontaneous songs about him. Smooshinator needs brushed everyday right now. Petting and feeding are enough for Shelby, with at least one "pretty kitty baby girl" thrown in a day.

26. I didn't remove the toy from the water dish. That's Petey's great
joy - besides chewing on fingers - to dump a toy into the water dish.

Fed the outdoor wild kitties. (Ginger has begun to saunter into the house as if he owns the place. He's getting the chop on Friday.)

28. Not much.
Riley's giving me the cold shoulder. I think he's realizing that the mounting boxes could mean something and he's not to thrilled about it.

I did pet and feed him, but I'm trying to give him some space. ;)
