I'm trying to see if I can afford to go, and wanted to know where there are inexpensive hotels/motels. I won't have a car--I'm flying in, though I'm not sure whether it's to National, BWI or to Dulles. Without a car, I'm going to be stuck with places I can get to cheaply. If anyone wants to volunteer some info for me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

2. try hotwire but cross reference it with a good guide to hotels.... |
|
hotwire will not tell you the name of the place till you pay, just the neighboorhood, ratings and amneties of the place, but it's a good 50-70% off reg rates. but if you look on tripadvisor you can pretty much figure out what you'll be getting. there weren't a lot of specials going anyway, and i wanted to be near dupont, so i'm happy with my booking. good luck, see ya there!.

I found one in Alexandria that was pretty cheap and it's walking distance from a Metro stop.
