5. Yes!
Only the shareware version though, so I don't know what happens after the third level.

Getting turned upside down can be a death sentence.

7. It's unlikely but possible.
And there's a snowstorm's chance in hell that you have the sound drivers.

8. Its easy to do

use a dos emulator: DOSBOX: http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1

The emultor is a bit hard to use so I recommend using the DFEND front end: http://members.home.nl/mabus/dfend.htm

This emulates everything: CGA/EGA/VGA/TGA converted to DirectX and ADLIB/SoundBlaster/PC Speaker/Tandy 3-Voice etc converted to DirectXSound.

for all your retro gaming needs!

(god am I a dork)

13. awesome multi-player
used to have marathon lunch hour games at work with descent (and doom). Of course, that was before management knew about network gaming and the massive amount of time wasted. lol

14. Yeah, I gave it a whack, but 1v1 Quake2 matches was my thing
The play till sunrise, sleep till 4, go get Chinese takeout, start playing at 7 pm and do it all again - kind of thing.
