How long have you had pets? |
|
I've had cats continuously since March 1987. We had a dog when I was a child, but he stayed outside and unfortunately froze to death because my dad wouldn't let him come into the house. My brother had some goldfish when I was a child, but they all jumped out of the bowl and died (he never found some of the corpses).

4. Abbott adopted me in Dec 2003, I adopted Evita in March 2004 |
|
:D
Reason Abbott adopted me was because he was tossed away by his previous owners and he found me one night and said "I'm living with you"
Evita I picked from a cat rescue! I thought she would be this precious lap kitty with soft long gray hair. Boy was I wrong!

I've always had at least two dogs ever since I was born. I just can't stand not having the furry guys around. They're a lot of fun. :)
I have birds and fish, too!

I've always had at least one cat since then, although from 1996-2003 my cat was living with my parents (damn college).

have always had cats, so that makes for over 40 years of cats. Let's see now in order (sort of) Kitty- died of old age Tiko- fell off a ladder Sam- old age Holly- old age Steve- hit by car Callie- ran away Lucy- ran away Thoreau- hit by car Lily- still around at 13 YO, with one eye Grady- age 8 and happy Jif- age 12 Squeak- age 12 Jif and Squeak are littermates
then there were fish and birds and stuff like that

8. I've always had kitties -- can't live without them. |
|
I had to go kitty-less in college and grad school; I was so desperate I'd roam the neighborhood looking for kitties to pet.

9. I've had a Mississippi Mud Turtle since |
|
1967:party: She was probably about 15-20 years old when I got her. She now has a cataract on one eye and the other is getting the same way. Been chewed up by other turtles a few times(she can be persnickety)but she's a tough old bird.
Also have a Chiapan Giant Musk Turtle that I pipped from the egg on the Ides of March, 1974.
I don't actually consider my reptiles pets, rather specimens. Wish the damned dogs would live so long. :evilfrown:
