My coworker is playing Dylan in his office

JUST KILL ME NOW.

Every time that supremely annoying voice gives way to those dismal harmonica strains....

IT MAKES ME WANT TO SCREAM.

I know, I know, he's a great poetic genius....

But Christ if his music doesn't annoy the hell out of me!

1. Like organ music, I can only take Dylan in relatively small doses

Unless it's in concert.

2. Dylan is best heard covered by someone else

great writer, but his singing and compostion skills are alittle sketchy.

3. Black female blues/jazz singers cover him best

Nina Simone and Cassandra Wilson both have recorded excellent Dylan covers.

I like Dylan's voice all right, but I know lots of people don't. My previous dog used to howl whenever I put his record on, I don't know if it was his voice or the harmonica that got her going.
