Who was President when you were born?
My at-present-unseen avatar, John Fitzgerald Kennedy. SIGH. How far we have dropped.

5. Yes
my mom said that by 8 or 9 p.m., it had been nothing but assassination stuff on TV for hours, so they went to bed and consoled each other.

she also said that JFK was shot once, but she was shot twice (I'm a twin) that there was a lone gunman, and a grassy knoll was not involved.

I was working at NBC 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York for the news department, and we worked all through the night of Friday, November 22, 1963, to put together the film of his life for the next day's programs (quaint technology, wasn't it?).

Nice to know someone else was getting laid somewhere.

Oh, about the shot twice and the twin thing? Did you say you were a fraternal twin? That would account for two eggs and two sperm, etc. you know the drill... oops...

Hammurabi was the furthest back king that anyone would recognize; the one in charge when I was born, his name has been lost to antiquity, as it was tens of thousands of years before writing was invented. My homeland is actually under the baltic sea at this period of time.
