When UPS is delivering a package to you, your house is the last stop of the day. When they're knocking on your door to leave a package for your neighbor, it's first thing in the morning.

3. I think you may be right |

Or when you absolutely HAVE to go somewhere and you're only gone 15 minutes, THAT'S when they bring it.

4. I've found an easy way to make them show-up. |
|
Just go down to the store for 5 minutes.

Mr. DTBK is always on me to "go to the gym; go to the gym." Today he said, "Stay home today!" The package is for him; it's a harmonium he won on eBay and is eagerly awaiting. Even though I've signed numerous things, UPS is known to return packages to the facility because I wasn't home to sign for them. SIGH.

Is it a pedal harmonium, by any chance?
I know you mentioned your husband is Pakistani, does he play Qawwali (sp?) music, by any chance? The reason I ask is that Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is in heavy rotation on my home stereo at the moment. :D
