Everybody Hates Chris--funniest show EVER. Clear your Thursday schedule...
Edited on Tue Sep-13-05 06:42 PM by tjdee
I just watched the whole pilot episode of Everybody Hates Chris (got it in a mag), and it's sooooo funny.

It's based on Chris Rock's life in 1982 when he was thirteen and went to school in Brooklyn Beach from Bedford-Stuyvesant. It's kind of like The Wonder Years in that way, and Chris Rock does some voiceover too--and gives some punchlines.

The parents are the best (especially the father), the principal is creepy (seriously creepy, not ha ha, he's creepy!)....really funny. I laughed harder and more often than I've laughed at any comedy in a long time.

It was pitched to FOX, but UPN ended up getting it because FOX was afraid Chris Rock wouldn't be involved enough. It comes on Thursday at 8pm.

Here's the 7 minute teaser, if you want a look. But watch the show, seriously.
