HELP, I'm trying to find a download of an MP3
About 3 months ago I discovered Nine Inch Nails cover of Queen's "Get Down Make Love" and I absolutely fell in love with it. I use to be able to download it off of Rhapsody but I procrastinated and the song was removed from their library before I had a chance. I've also checked ITunes and Napster and neither of them have the song.

I've tried search the net but I can't find it ANYWHERE and I've also not seen it for sale in the music sales.

Anyone know a site where I can find MP3. I don't mind paying a few dollars but I also don't want to download a virus with it too.

I'm basically an MP3 downloading beginner

1. Limewire is your friend
Very simple for newbies. It's also open source, no adware/spyware attached. I use the free version as a supplementary P2P app and have had no problems with it.

3. It's on one of the halos
I think "sin."

A good indie store should have it.

5. Limewire is good
There is another thing called ares. Heard it's OK.

Hmmm, I'm partial to bittorrent my self. For that you first need to install the software. I like one called bitcomet. Then you need to use a torrent search site to find what you're looking for. If you want torrent search sites pm me (I'm not sure whether I should post the links). The sites are clean and have no spyware and the files also don't have any viruses.

6. Only problem with BT
It is fantastic for finding extremely large files and complete sets of things (TV shows, albums, etc) but is pretty much useless for finding just one small thing like a song.

Which is why I use a combo of P2P networks (BT, Gnutella/Limewire, Usenet and IRC).

7. Good point
P2P networks are usually better for individual songs.

Though, if the specific song is part of an album, bit comet is great because you can choose only those files you want to d/l.

9. I always forget about that feature
I use Bit Tornado and I always forget you can do that. It would have saved me a lot of trouble when I was downloading a huge pack of old D&D books.

10. Haven't used bit tornado
Is it good?

I've been happy with bit comet. I've been getting pretty fast d/l rates.

I've heard good things about azueres (or however you spell it), but I tried it and it seemed liked it took all the system resources. I guess it's the Java that does it.

11. It's an older one
I think it was the first alternative to the official BT client, and back when I started using torrents it was pretty much the only thing out there. I like it, it doesn't have a flashy interface or anything but it gets the job done.

I tried Azureus but it just doesn't like my system. Crashes every time I try to use it, which is weird because I've never had that problem with other Java apps.

14. I like BitLord
Is has that ability to selectably download files - but as with any torrent app, only if the files are separated in the first place.

I recommend it, it's never crashed on me.

16. I'm an Azureus fan myself
I've used a bunch: Bit Lord, ABC, Bit Tornado, etc. and Azureus is by far my favourite.

Outside of BT it's my primary P2P program.
