6) The Canary Islands in the Pacific are named after what animal? *Dogs Yes, after the Latin word Canaris. And yes, they are in the Atlantic, not Pacific.
9) Where are Chinese gooseberries from? *New Zealand At least the ones we buy here are. They're called Kiwi Fruit, though. (Also being grown in California now.)
10) What is the color of the black box in a commercial airplane? Orange. Of course. that makes easier to find in the wreckage.

4) In which month do Russians celebrate the October Revolution? *November Yes - the Russians were still using the Julian calendar which means that the October Revolution took place in what is generally known as November.
7) What was King George VI's first name? *Albert Yes - British kings frequently take names other than their first names.
10) What is the color of the black box in a commercial airplane? Orange, Yes - how else is it going to be found.
