Reviving a geriatric eggplant.
<paddles ready>
"CLEAR?"
"CLEAR!!!"

ZZZAAAPPP!!!

No, not really.
But the beloved aubergine is a bit past it's prime.
Whacked it into 1/2" slices.
Marinating now in lemon-herb vinegar and roasted garlic olive oil with a liberal (LOVE that word) dash of freshly ground pepper.
Will grill later.

Two week old cow pies would taste good with this recipe.
;-)

1. I dunno. I thought it was a grabber subject line.
Maybe I'm losing a step or two?

2. I revive veggies all the time
by soaking them in water for about half an hour. Works especially well on rubbery carrots.

3. It looks rather like a copycat thread....from the Olive Garden....
WCGreen talks about eggplant in there...

Which is why I came to see what you're up to, here!

Cowpies? Ummmm....:puke:

Really?

Your recipe for the eggplant sounds yummy...if only I liked it!

They're scary.

7. Just a Kid Icarus reference
I was about six years old, playing this game, minding my own business when Poof! My head turns into an eggplant.

Now Ghosts 'n' Goblins left far more permanent scars on my psyche. Our local Nepalese place makes a great eggplant curry, though.
