Wrestling fans, past & present: Who was your favorite jobber?
I have to give it up for S.D. "Special Delivery" Jones.
Lost to King Kong Bundy at the first Wrestlemania in nine seconds.

5. Bruno was NOT a jobber!
He held the WWF title for something like 8 years...

I guess I should school you on wrestling terminology.

"Jobbers" are wrestlers that are brought in to lose to bigger stars. There aren't as many jobbers in pro wrestling these days, as it got kind of predictable when someone like "Macho Man" Randy Savage wrestled a guy named Joe Smith.

51. Years ago there was some poor sap named Cliff somebody who was
brought in as cannon fodder against Dominic Dinnuci (sp?) and / or Waldo Von Erich. This was when I was like five or six, I can't remember his last name, but I distinctly remembering wondering how he could be alive. He took his assbeating every week and my father would say "He must be the richest man in the world."

33. Iron Mike is a classic!
School is ok. Pretty fun. My Tribal Govt professor made fun of Michael Brown quite a bit on Tuesday, haha. It was funny as hell. Then he asked if we could take one face off of MT. Rushmore and put another one back on who would they be? We picked Jefferson. When it came time to add somebody I call out "Michael Brown." haha.

I talked to her today. Kinda wasn't feeling it. I'll talk to her again and see if I'm still interested. However,

I met the most adorable young woman today in my Health Care Policy Class. She's a short little stunner. I ended up talking to her a few minutes after class. Really eager to learn, great personality. I love happy people, the kind that put you in a good mood by just seeing them, you know what I mean? She seemed so excited to be in the class, and trust me, it can be boring as hell. I mean, health care policy? It just sounds tedious. Not to mention the professor, a helluva nice guy, could put Joe Lieberman to sleep. I actually dosed off for a few minutes today. She was enthusiastic as all hell about the class, I definitely liked that about her. She may be a little young for me, well, maybe not I guess. My dad is 12 years older than my mom, so I guess age isn't such a big deal. She was a confident little thing, she was about to walk out of the building after our conversation and I said "I'm Bill btw". She turned around, stared me in the eyes and walked right up and shook my hand. Made the old ticker flutter a bit, haha. Nice girl though. I'll have to talk to her more next class. I'm definitely interested, I would say.

Barry Horowitz. A master! One of the best scrubs ever. No doubt about it. A true wrestling fan can appreciate that Barry actually had some skills too.

34. Go for it, my friend
She sounds great; if she's got the eye contact, she's interested.

Alot of these jobbers had some in-ring skills; what they lacked were the mic skills and the charisma to put them over. Then there are The Mulkeys:)
