The Vaporizer: My report
A while back I bought a $60 Vaporizer after the DU meetup in Berkeley. It worked Ok...but wasn't the greatest. It was an AromaCare II, and basically was a soldering gun with a bowl welded on the top, and a mason jar that could come out. You put the "tobacco" into the bowl and then it vaporized it, but usually burnt it anyway, and it tasted like crap, like burnt popcorn.

The wife threw away the mason jar thingy and I had to get a new one - so I went for reviews on sites that specialize in "Tobacco" smoking.

Anyway, found one that runs about $100 called the Vapor Cannon. It's kind of bizarre but you have a mouthpiece with a glass end and a screen. You grind up the "tobacco" and suck it up into it.

Then you turn on the vapor cannon device

And hold the glass thingy up to the cannon. It uses convection to heat up the "tobacco" thus heating up the oils to a vapor, but not burning the "tobacco" and as a result you feel very very nice. It tastes just like fresh "tobacco" and you can use the leftover for cooking.

5. I was always a spliff guy
I just loved the whole ritual of skinning it up, burning your fingers (if you were using hash), clearing up all the mess, sparking it up, passing it around.

Cursing when you got an elvis down half its length. x(

6. Ahhhh I used to like the super bong
Two feet tall and very kind....but when I quit smoking, I vowed never to smoke anything ever again, lest I become tempted.

So vaporizers were a great option :)
