I feel safer now that I heard Bush give a speech....
Feel so much safer already. Wow, what a relief! I now have total faith that our commander-in-chief can get the job done, protect us, create well-paying jobs and still manage to ride his bike without wrecking or plowing into another person or object. Whew. Today is a good day. Bush is focused and ready to roll. As I heard a redneck on TV once say" "If it's Dubya wants to do it then it must be good." So, if Dubya says everything is ok, then it must be true. Hail to the chief! (if you don't get this is sarcasm without me hitting the smilie then you're too dumb to be on this board, and you voted for Bush too, I'm sure)

1. My friend, I'm relying on you to tell me what shit-for-brains said.
I simply CANNOT watch him give a speech, because I get violently angry. I just can't help it. I know I should be able to control myself better, but I can't.

So what lies did we get tonight? Thank you in advance for a synopsis.

Yata hey,

Redstone

5. I just caught the end of it....
He was talking about how mistakes were made, how they will be more prepared, a bigger role for the military in Hurricane operations etc. Same trite shit.

I used to nearly have an aneurysm just seeing the guy. I cooled down alot otherwise I'd have been dead by the age of 35 or something. Just the word "Republican" made my blood boil. I had to let it all go. It helped a little when I became an opinions columnist and was pretty much forced to watch and read all the stuff Bush and Clowns said, because then I just detached myself a little, sucked it up and chalked it up as a necessary evil for my research. But, yeah, he can make me violently angry for sure. I'm known for yelling at the tv on Sundays when I watch the morning political shows, haha.

4. Yes, I think we all have an increased sense of security this evening.
We are proud of our leaders, and despite recent difficulties, we are ready to forge ahead to find a new destiny.

:)
