I slept while it was dark
This seems to be quite an accomplishment for me. Two nights ago, I said I was tired and going to bed...I couldn't sleep until after the kids went to school. Last night, I finally got to sleep at 3:30 AM. So, tonight (OK, I'm referring to Thursday night), I watched the Pretzeldent speak, then was watching Primetime's boogeyman show. I saw about the flu that will wipe us all out in a matter of months, I saw the earthquake, I saw the beginning of a nuke in NY. I never made it to the ten o'clock news or Nightline. The next thing I knew, it was 2:30 AM and my Dora kitty was nuzzling my face...she wanted attention. How dare I sleep when it was dark outside!

1. What you really need is a little spotted baby kitty.

2. Have you not seen the pics of Graybaby?
Granted, she's outside, but still! She gets upset if she can't see the sky, meows until she can see it again.

She's bigger now...I need to get new pics.

4. She's been around a while
The litter that was born under my trailer...She was the only one who wasn't orange and white. She also wouldn't let humans touch her. We're fostering her until we find her a home. She DOES let me touch her now...she's almost there.

5. This little critter I have will pester you for attention, but...
I'm afraid it's growing up not knowing how to play. I'm not exactly the type to cuddle a cat, if you know what I mean?

6. Get a shoelace or a piece of string and dangle...
Critter will have the fun in the world.

Not all cats are cuddlers. Scribbles comes for lap time when I'm on the couch watching TV. She gets brushed and her head scratchies that make her purr, then she goes away. Dora sleeps ON me. Bear sleeps with his boy for a while, has started sleeping in my daughter's room after big guy goes to sleep.

I have three inside...Graybaby and MommaKitty outside. Hubster was supposed to take them all for adoption, but decided that Graybaby needed to learn to let people touch her first. She was still little, so he left MommaKitty with her. (I had never seen her before she had kittens under my trailer.) MommaKitty is now expecting again, but we plan to get her fixed after this litter...I know a vet that spays for $35.
