A 100 year old, 60 foot Pine tree is laying in my driveway
The winds came in last night and almost knocked Michigan over into Canada...Now all I have to do is figure out what to do with this pine tree..!!Poor thing...it was my favorite tree by the road, like a sentry.

2. A friend of my moms cut a tree down so it wouldn't hit her house
A tree in a neighbor's yard ended up falling over and landing on her car.

3. Eeep...
That happened to a friend of mine last week. Except his tree sort of cut his garage and front porch in half on the way down. You were lucky. That tree must have liked you, too, to not fall on you.

6. All the leaves are gone
I don't have any more raking to do, but I bet there's a cord of wood that came down last night. I've got to get on the roof and see what branches are up there. And I probably have a few new marks on my pickup, since it has never seen a garage since it was new.

7. About half the leaves in my yard blew into the neighbor's yard!
The other half somehow ended up in a huge pile in front of the back door.
(I'll take care of them this weekend.)

I guess Ill drag them out into the woods. sheesh..I live out in the country so I dont rake anything..it eventually blows away...we are right next to Lake Michigan, so it really whipped up last night...lost electricity for a few hours..Looks like it hit quite a portion of the US..

14. I think the top of it is in my yard
Our area (east cental Ohio) lost three houses and numerous trees. Seven other homes had significant damage and several vehicles were smashed. We were lucky. The cover blew off our grill and is laying in the yard. Other than raking leaves - again- we came through fine.
Oh, and thanks for the snow. I love winter.
