My mom quit smoking 3 days ago!
Here I am at college (RU RAH RAH RU RAH RAH HOORAH HOORAH RUTGERS RAH! UPSTREAM REDTEAM REDTEAM UPSTREAM RAH (WHAT!) RAH (WHAT!) RUTGERS RAH!!)
and I come home this weekend since it's free for college kids on NJ Transit and I hear that she quit smoking three days ago. It's awesome. Supposedly she went to a hypnotist (I've heard stories on here that it does work) and she quit. I don't want to be boastful, but I've seen a sense of pride in my mom lately ever since I've been at college and been doing well even in my first few weeks as a freshman. Seems as if it's calmed her down in total for her entire life (not that she was crazy or anything before) but that she feels she can do anything in the world now since I'm doing great at college. Any thoughts and comments of how to continue to support her would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
