Saw Greg Proops blast Bush on Just For Laughs (CBC) last night. |
|
Most clearly one of us. His comedy seemed to be covering genuine total hatred for Bush. Seems very fond of Big Dog too (in an irreverent sort of way, didn't spare him on the whole libido thing). He almost went into Bill Hicks territory, surprising for a guy who seems so 'cuddly' on Whose Line. Great stuff. Anyone seen Proops comment on Bush before?

1. Haven't really seen it, but I've heard about it. |

He's been on that crappy show that Colin Quinn (who always sounds to me like he's drunk, and always did) does on Comedy Central, that airs after The Daily Show. I don't remember what the show is called, and it's irrelevant because my opinion of Colin Quinn is he's so unfunny he sucks the funny out of other people. Anyway, I heard it was pretty entertaining. If somebody could edit Colin Quinn out of it, I might watch it, but he touches off my gag reflex in ways my dentist has never managed in five years.

FIRST Bush -- and he wasn't much more thrilled about Diddims back in the day.
Greg is an incredibly funny person and definitely a liberal. He spent much of his early career here in San Francisco.
Colin Quinn, on the other hand, is one of the most unfunny people I have ever seen. I was at a New York show of his years ago and he was telling really bad Irish wake jokes.
Bombed, big time.
