About the Sept. 24th Washington D.C. gathering & protest
For those of us who would love to be there but cannot, are there any ideas of how we can effectively be supportive? Keep in mind we would be there if not for money, job, childcare etc. constraints.
Just trying to tap in to the creative minds at DU & letting them know we are there in spirit. LTTE's may be one way. but I'm thinking about something that would be more visible to lend credence to the effort elsewhere.

1. maybe get some of your friends together for a cookout?
or gather at a restaurant or cafe? LTTE are always cool.

watch the 'span (CSPAN) and post here on DU if you see the protest on the tee-vee. Keeping active threads here would be a great support.
