2. Now, be nice.
If it weren't for Microsoft, millions and millions of people around the world would be unemployed.

Just think of all the tech support jobs created thanks to Windows.

Hitler seems to follow the pattern of Microsoft much better.

There's a serious difference in all aspects of life between a Linux enthusiast and a Windows/Mac enthusiast.

I mean, come on. The Nazis were all about design and style (check those uniforms and the architecture and propaganda), and kickass technology (jet fighters and assault rifles in 1944? Long-range ballistic missiles? The first really modern submarines?).

iMac? Hitler would've loved it. Modern design, etc etc, and lower-priced...how could the guy who dreamed up the Volkswagen NOT love that?

16. Nice points. One thing Hitler would never have allowed in Germany...
...and that's the internet. He would have never let any outside entity control information. The internet is really our last stop-gap from keeping the takeover here, from coming complete.

25. "Linux is only free if your time is worthless"
Truer words have not been spoken-- and these by a diehard *nix head, no less.

(BTW, I use Linux. And Windows. And MacOS. And FreeBSD. And even Solaris on occassion. When you work in IT, you appreciate all OSs, and can't afford to discriminate-- that is, if you like to be employed.)

Way more than my brother ever spends tinkering with his Microsoft box. But as some great philosopher said, freedom is untidy. ;)

Advertise your OS as being Windows compatible, which it isn't, and then charge people to download all the same software packages that users of any other Debian based distro can get for free.

Their excuse? "We provide a valuable service". Isn't that what the Waffen SS said too?

19. "One world, One web, One program"
Microsoft ran an ad campaign for Internet Explorer with the slogan "One world, One web, One program". It was quickly withdrawn when it was pointed out that it was rather like another propaganda campaign:

"Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer" (One People, One Kingdom, One Leader) -- Adolph Hitler

So people made this image around that time:
