So how much prayin did you get done......
I mean yesterday was the national day of prayer for the NO Tragedy...

So just how much prayin' did you get done.....

Do you think all this prayin' was designed for folks like Bush to get them a Photo op at the local church stead of bin' out actaully doin' sumthin' productive......

5. This is what I don't get about praying...
Aside from being cathartic for the Pray-er, what is the point? If God is going to help someone/remedy some situation, does he really have to be "asked" to do so? Isn't he just going to do the same thing, regardless-- or is it thought that if enough people pray and pray well enough, they can bend the will of God?:shrug:

6. I guess it's a nice gesture, but...
here's something I'm not sure I understand.

Natural disasters are considered by more than a few as an "Act of God"

So, I'm a bit confused about the idea of praying for something that some would consider the handiwork of God.

I guess I'm in the dark about "God's Will" and all.
