Crappy commercials shown before a movie make we want to pull my hair out. |

And they wonder why movie attendance is down. AMC is a vile theatre to see a film. And who wants to see a "heart clinic" spot before a movie? Why are the qualities of so many sublime experiences diminishing?

2. I can guarantee you they piss off someone else more.. |

The person who has to change them hates them even more. Changing the trailers increases the odds of a film breaking dramatically..

3. Get your watch out and measure the duration of the commercials. |

My wife figured out that our local mega-movie place always has 17 minutes of ads. Everytime. So we just arrive later.

5. The spots I were subjected to were so loud, so amateurishly made |

and then theres this fake AMC entertainment magazine show in between. These folks are so out of touch. When I grew up there'd be a short funny film or a roadrunner cartoon.

6. The ads, the volume, the sticky floors, the prices....the crowds... |
|
ALL of these are reasons that my husband and I have stopped going to the movies.....
Now we buy the DVD's when they come out...and we watch them at home, in our own lovely TV room, complete with the big screen hi def TV...and all the rest of our own amenities....
We DO have to wait for the film to come out on DVD...but that time is shorter and shorter these days...
