I'm wanting a new e-mail address to give out for my radio show.

I already have Yahoo, and I think way back when I may have signed up with AOL e-mail.

Can you have more than one Yahoo e-mail?

What others are there that are any good?

1. Hotmail is still around
Excite.com is also a good alternative.

Yes, you can have multiple Yahoo accounts, just give a fake name and address and it's no trouble at all. Same with all the others. Hotmail is easy because they never ask questions even if you give a fake name and address.

I like Excite, because you can have multiple accounts and still give your real info each time.

3. A lot of those fears apply to all email providers
Chances are really good that if you delete an email on ANY system, that it's still around in the server somewhere. In fact, if you delete a file on your computer, that file is still there.

I don't see how Gmail is any worse than any other email provider -- many of them do the same things Google does -- like parsing your email to see if it's spam. You can read all about their privacy policy here: http://mail.google.com/mail/help/privacy.html

6. Have you ever read Yahoo's terms of service?
According to them, they OWN anything you post through their system and they can use it however they please including editing and compiling for use in marketing.

7. Nope
I was mostly trying to defend Google. I don't think I like the sound of Yahoo's terms. :)
