Poor Rush Limbaugh: Donavan McNabb has thrown FIVE TD's for the Eagles
And passed for over 350 yds.

How will Rush explain this?

1. It was a fluke
The rest of the team was not up to par. McNabb is using steriods.

3. The truth means nothing to Limbaugh
He'll say to his audience, just take my word for it. After all, they are ignorant dittoheads.

4. I think McNabb is an excellent QB.
Rush was wrong. That being said, even though I am not a fan of the Eagles, I thought the whole team gave up in the Superbowl last year. They had more than enough chance to come back, and they just sort of lollygagged in the huddle, with no sense of urgency. McNabb and the Eagle team had come back from bigger deficits with less time. I just remember thinking, "come on, this is the Superbowl. You might not get another shot." I would have been disappointed if I was an Eagle fan.

5. I think Reid really wanted it that way
Why, I don't know. He's gotten out-coached in many big games. I wasn't too worried after the Atlanta loss (bad record in first games,) and they won today, so maybe they'll get another chance.

As far as Donovan is concerned, he has streaks where he's not accurate - and sometimes he folds under heavy defensive pressure - but he's still one of the best around.
