Generation Xers: Remember the good old days of MTV?
I was flipping through the TV stations just now, and I came across a show on MTC called "Sweet 16", a "reality" show about rich girls' 16th birthday parties. Ugh.

I can remember when I was 8 or 9 years old coming home from school, flipping on MTV, knowing there would be music videos on, good music videos too.

2. Remember the really cheaply produced ones in the early days?
They were hilarious.

Then, there were some that were pure art, like Bowie's "Ashes to Ashes."

9. MTV2
supposedly plays music. If you consider post-grunge/nu-metal music. :(

We didn't have cable in my area, so I am one of the few Xers I know of who didn't have a steady diet of MTV growing up.

Of course, I'm one of the few who didn't have a stupid haircut, either.

11. Fuse is decent, too..
Some of it's shows piss me off, like the one with that Julya, or Steven's Untitled Rock Show--that kid is a tool. Other than that, at least they show music!
