Computer question: what programs do you run resident? |
|

By that, I mean always active.
Mine:
KAV Personal Pro 5.0 (AV) Outpost Pro 2.7 (firewall - I change this one sometimes, but might stay since it's running better than ZAP and the Norton Firewall.) BOClean (anti-trojan) ProcessGuard Microsoft Anti-Spyware Beta WeatherPulse (spyware and ad-ware free desktop weather.) Norton GoBack
Looks like that's it except for things like my printer and sound icons.

1. I'd check that Weather pulse for Spyware/Adware though. |

Ad-aware, Spybot S&D, Microsoft Anti-Spyware, Kaspersky, BOClean, and people at broadbandreports.com all do.
Even BOClean flagged WeatherBug. That's when I changed.

1) NAV (which has pissed me off royally today and may be getting the boot here real soon) and 2) ZA (which has pissed me off royally in the past and I will be dumping when the subscription runs out, if not, sooner)
