Hey, my dad's gonna be ok!!! Yay!
Y'all missed a lot of drama, but for the past week or so, we thought my dad had congestive heart failure and was possibly on his way out of this world. We had him moved to a competent hospital, and whaddya know, he doesn't have it at all! His heart is in great shape! Yay! He does still have a bad kidney infection, but he's on the mend. Fever's gone finally, he's talking normally, and cracking jokes. I'm very happy, to say the least.

15. Wow, thanks-- you're so sweet!
I really think he's perfectly fine. He has Down Syndrome, and as a result, has a higher likelihood (though still remote) of developing leukemia. I didn't even tell my husband they were going to test him for it, because I think it'll scare him, and it's really almost a formality. He has a couple minor symptoms that I attribute to other issues, but they're going to test him just to be on the safe side.
