Is Bush truly clueless, or is it he simply does not care
Is Bush just a spoiled frat rat sociopath who simply doesn't give a rat's ass that thousands may have died in the aftermath of
Katrina?

That would explain the non response to the PDB about terrorists flying planes into buildings.
That would explain torturing innocent people in GITMO.
That would explain Chertoff's and Brown's non-action.

Bush hasn't turned Louisiana into a photo op because he feels for the destitute people made destitute and dead by his INACTION...Bush is ther because 33% to 38% of all americans approve of tghe Republican party right now. Bush's personal poll numbers are at 39 to 41%

He does not give a fuck, and, likewise neither does the Republican party. they only care about keeping hold of the power in 2006.

Is the answer that simple? He simply does not care whether you or I die a horrible death today, tomorrow...preferably today?

I think it is that simple. bush just does not care.

2. He's only interested in being called 'Mr. President' than actually
hearing anything. He needs to be pushed into things via cattle prod by his advisors

5. 39% approval means 61% disapproval
You can't look at it any other way.
No matter how you split the poll..If people don't click on the approve button, they do not approve of bush.
He was at plus 60% long after 9-11 and now is in the high 30's ?

Just like every company venture he headed, state he ran and "political capital" he posessed, Bush blew all of it.

This boat is taking on water faster than Rove can bail it out.

4. I absolutely can't decide.
Complete idiocy *might* be easier to stomach than absolute evil. Either way, he's a dick.

6. There was a headline a week after Katrina struck: Bush struggles
to find compassionate image. or words to that effect.

If you have to STRUGGLE to come across as compassionate...hey America, take the hint! This sociopathic fool does not care how many died, how they died or that he caused their deaths.

His campaign now is to regain lost poll numbers for the republican Party and 2006.

9. He cares. He isn't clueless.
First, let's not heap to much implied credit on him. He is just a figurehead, the CEO (if you know what CEO's actually do).

It's not that they don't care. It's not that they aren't aware of what is happening as a result of their actions and inactions. It is simply that they don't care about that, they have their own agenda (which would shock 99% of the people) and they are trying to implement it and some of it does purposely create what common sense tells us is wrong...but they don't care in fact they want some of it.

People really need to stop projecting themselves onto them while judging them.

10. They live in a section of society WE will never experience
Edited on Mon Sep-19-05 02:16 PM by rustydog
We are the hired help. We are what makes corporate America filthy rich, not the CEO..They don't make anything but are paid to, oh I don't know, run airlines into bankruptcy...run oil companies into bankruptcy...Bilk billions of dollars out of millions of people then declare bankruptcy...I don't know..maybe they GOLF while people DROWN praying for deliverance.

None of this group are WORKING class Americans. I bet none of them have gotten a blister on their hands or feet from work.
The only WORK you see Bush do is staged brush cutting on the same fucking tree for 5 goddamn years!

These people do not CARE whether you or I die right now. there is some other wog that will take our place in grunt society.
