1. WOW
that is unusual! It is 86 here in Eastern Kansas but we have some storms coming in AGAIN! We have been so wet this summer but not as wet as last summer. It is so unusual to actually be green here in August but for the last two years we have not had a summer brown out at all! Damn that is hot.

2. Yeah, supposed to be rainy and in the 60's
It's State Fair time and that always seems to lead into colder weather.

3. 92 here in Tulsa
with a heat index of 97.

It is too warm for this time of year. I'm ready for it to cool down a bit.

4. That caught my eye
On The Weather Channel I saw three pink areas on the temp map. Pink being 100+ readings in the SouthWest, South Texas and the Arkansas area. August lives still!?

5. Yuck! It was soooo nice on Friday, and Saturday morning was
so cool, I had hoped that it was the beginnings of fall--but NOOOO!

I have a big outdoor event on Thursday morning with 400 civic and business leaders, and it's always so dang hot and humid, not the best weather for a breakfast meeting.
