My Day Started Terribly...

This morning I awoke to birds chirping, the sun gleaming through the bows of a tree overhaning my window, and a cool morning breeze to move its leaves with a rustle. I make some coffee, grab a bite to eat, wash my face and snatch an apple on the way out the door. Just as I close my door behind me, I stretch and look up to see a bird, as if in slow motion, landing on a power line.

ZZZ Zap!

Just as the pigeon plummeted to the street below, so did my good mood.

Thought I' share that with ya. I had the same feeling when Bush stole his second election.

Kidding, I feel horrible every time I see a living creature's life extinguished. Even squirrels.

Did the bird touch two wires at once? Birds are okay on power lines because the electricity takes the path of least resistance -- the bird's not it.
