I just found women's WIDE shoes in sizes 11, 12, and 11.5. Not bargain prices, but shipping is free, and so is return shipping.
AND, I ordered the wrong color, called them up, and they changed it to the right color and sent me a confirmation.

Actually lodging is pretty much handled when we go to DC, hubby has an aunt who lives in NoVa.
It is the airfare...and from Minneapolis, with the Northwest strike...and the high fuel prices, we just do not have it right now.
