Did anyone else here the obnoxious f'in "Family First" commercial on
AAR earlier?

I heard it in the car on the way home . . . Okay, now I'm a man, but tell me there isn't something wrong with this . . .

The commercial starts talking about a woman with a husband who used to put her husband first, but after she has kids, she puts the kids first, not the husband, it goes on for a bit then talks about how she might find out after the kids are grown she doesn't have a husband or he's not around as much (or, as it says maybe he found someone else) so she should ALWAYS put her husband first in everything. . .

I'm sitting in the car listening to this and thinking . . . WHAT THE FUCK is this doing on AAR.

Am I overreacting, or was that like a totally NON-progressive ad?

1. Didn't hear it, but it certainly sounds pretty un-progressive.

3. It may not be AAR that put the ad on the radio
If I'm correct, many location stations are given time blocks to fill with their own advertisements for local stuff. Maybe they put the ad on the radio

4. I've heard ads from the same organization on every AAR station
I've listened to, both from local sources, on Sirius, and most recently on XM.

This is the first time I've heard that particular ad, but I've heard ads from the Family First or whatever it's called since the first day I heard AAR (then on Sirius, now on XM, and occasionally on Boston area AM stations).
