Nothing makes me happier than getting in a good snark at the Bush empire in the course of my music journalism activities.

Bon Jovi's new album came out today, and they've asked fans to photoshop and submit their interpetation of its cover art--a "smirking" face. They've gone as far as to grab the domain name smirkwatch.com, but thankfully, they held a contest and christened the face Joe V (get it?). I don't think I could have put up with calling him Smirky.

Submitted for your approval is my contribution to the cause. I'm not optimistic that they'll use it, so I put together a backup plan:
