Tip of the day: Getting rid of deodorant stains
1. Act as soon as possible to minimize chemical staining. Sponge white vinegar on the underarm stains to loosen the buildup of the deodorant's aluminum chloride or zinc salts, which discolor and weaken fabric over time.

2. Soak stubborn stains overnight in an enzyme-containing laundry detergent.

3. Launder with your usual detergent and color-safe bleach in the warmest water safe for your garment.

1. keeping a fish from jumping out of the net when you scoop it out
gently close your hand around the fish when it's inside the net - or, hold your hand over the top of the net.

 best I could come up w/ on short notice.

2.  How to Repair Scratched CDs
1. Determine the nature of the problem. Turn over the CD and look first for a smudge (see "Clean CDs" under Related eHows). If you notice a scratch, however, continue on to step 2.

2. Buy a fluid-based CD scratch-repair kit. (Image 1)

3. Get a soft, lint-free cloth, such as one made for cleaning eyeglasses, if your scratch-repair kit doesn't come with cloths or swabs. (Image 2)

4. Follow the manufacturer's instructions. Wipe across the CD, working from the inside out in straight lines. Never wipe in a circular pattern. (Image 3)

5. Repeat the process, if necessary.

3. i have one--grease stains on clothes, even white pants
wet the stained area and then take dishwasher det.--not dishwashing and make a paste or use the liquid gel type you may have and spread on the stain, let it sit for at least a few hours or overnight and then launder as usual.

Another use for dishwasher det is removing permanent maker stains from formica counters, this happened at my friends house and i put some cascade gel det on the stain and let it sit for a few minutes and it wiped right off.

10. How to clean burner pans...
1. Mix 2 teaspoons of vinegar and 2 teaspoon of cream of tartar in a small dish (use 3 or 4 teaspoons of vinegar and 3 or 4 teaspoons of cream of tartar if you have more items to clean or if you have larger items, such as a heavily soiled casserole dish and cover).

2. Use a cotton ball to apply the solution to your burner pans or casserole dishes and covers (Corning Ware casseroles, for example).

3. Let sit for 5 to 10 minutes.

4. Scrub with a scouring pad and then wash in hot, soapy water.

5. Repeat several times, if necessary, for heavily soiled burner pans and covered casserole dishes.

13. we just saw that clean up show with the 2 english ladies
that go clean up people's nasty places and they said to soak toilet paper in vinegar and wrap your faucets up and then put a plastic bag over it. Let it sit and they'll be super clean without any scrubbing -

and it worked!
