Poll question: Best place to assuage the stoner munchies?
Edited on Wed Sep-21-05 11:54 AM by Taverner
When you partake of fine 420, where is it you must feast afterwards?

On Edit: Of course, I was tempted to add Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles....but few here know the bliss that is fried chicken and waffles when stoned...

2. Taco Bell man all the way.
After a baking session nothing calms the growl of your stomach quite like a Spicy Chicken Buritto.

26. Sadly, you are correct!
I consider "Taco Smell" to be glorified dog food with chili powder. But it is the best for munchies if you just burned a couple of fatties and the horrors are creeping up on you.
Plus its CHEAP there.

6. No way it would make me sick
Because three hours later, I'd still be standing there, trying to decide what to get.

I was NOT a competent stoner, back in the day.

11. But KFC and Popeye's Deep Fry the chicken
Koo Koo Roo does rotisserie chicken, no frying...and they also sell skinless chicken breasts.

Basically, fast food for the health conscious!

That was 9 months ago. Progspawn still talks about it. He is trying to convince us to go back to CA just so he can eat there. He says it is his favorite restaurant ever.

9. It 'tis bliss, is it not?
One would think "Fried Chicken and Waffles?" But it works. Especially with gravy on the chicken.

Artery-jammin' good!

22. Roscoe's is awesome!
Edited on Wed Sep-21-05 02:04 PM by EOO
Personally, I'm more of a fan of Pink's Hot Dog Stand, or maybe Randy's Donuts, or Original Tommy's.

Although when I go to downtown, nothing, and I mean NOTHING beats a roast beef sandwich from Philippe's. Not even Roscoe's!

14. This poll is totally biased.

We don't have half the stoner munchie havens in the Midwest that you West Coasters do. No Del Taco, no In-N-Out burger, no Roscoes, and what the hell is a Koo Koo Roo? We hardly even have any White Castles in Milwaukee. We just end up wandering around the 24 hour grocery store buying pickles and cake (if we're ambitious) or ordering from the late night delivery place if we're not. Boo. BOO, I say!

p.s. I voted for Del Taco

23. Koo Koo Roo is a chicken joint that used to be owned by Chrysler
I am not making this up, either. Actually, it was their former CEO Lee Iacocca (sp?) who ran the restaraunt's parent company.

Thanks for filling me in on this fun fact.

Anyone that has eatten here would agree. Which I guess, excludes all of you here at DU.

If I go out to munch it is likely to be someplace that serves breakfast.

My stomache is growling now. Lunch is in about 1/2 hour when my husband comes home for lunch. We are having leftover potroast from dinner last night.

18. How?
How on earth would I be able to get to any of these places if I had the munchies?

We once made it to a grocery store. Bad idea. My friends ate a frozen strawberry shortcake while we were standing in line, waiting to pay for it.

It wasn't pretty.
