1. Amon Goeth...
Due to the fact he represented a large group of psychos
who really existed. The rest are largely fictional.

9. Lecter could be quite charming
and he only kills and eats the "free range rude." There's no question that he would do his hunting over at Freeperland. DUers have nothing to fear from him....

20. Nahh, he killed Otis didn't he
When he crossed that line into necrophilia.

There's some things even a deranged serial killer can't stomach after all.

And I do think he was the tops. Because he didn't have the personality of the others. He was just a "normal" psycho killer.

Haven't seen that movie since it was new and don't think i will ever watch it again.

23. Annie Wilkes
Hannibal Lector isn't crazy, he's a sociopath. Same with Patrick Bateman, at least in the book. I didn't see the movie.

Annie Wilkes is out and out insane. The hobbling scene is still one of the freakiest things I've ever seen in a movie. On top of that, Kathy Bates delivered the characters lines so well, one minute I'd be laughing about something she said, then the next be totally freaked out by something she did.

Carrie's mother is pretty freaky, too. Travis Bickle-well, we all have met a Travis Bickle or two in our day. He's the guy who's a little off until he cracks totally, but he's not necessarily a risk to everyone on the streets, just to his target.

36. Sorry, but DeNiro's bugeyed psycho is amateur hour compared...
to Big Bob Mitchum's original portrayal.
DeNiro is all tics and nervous energy (and tattoos) This over-the-top approach just rings false. Mitchum's more laid back nastiness truly jibes with a man who has been waiting years for revenge.
There's a reason that Scorsese is embarrassed by the remake. DeNiro owned the property and essentially coerced his old friend into directing the picture.

If you haven't seen it, seek out the original.

30. I checked Annie because she was the most believable in this
list to me. Patrick Bateman (American Psycho) was pretty rank, only problem is the way the movie ended . . .did it happen?

Personally, mine would be the first Hell Raiser and Pin Head.

Also, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, was based on a true story. Now if the guy wore leather on his face, I don't know; however, the story is supposedly that they were cannibals and used the meat from the people they killed to make the best Texas chili.

33. Believe it or not...
...Farrah Fawcett was pretty scary as a child-killing psychopath in "Small Sacrifices" a 1990 made-for-TV movie. It's available on video but it's an edited version. The original was a mini-series.
