Sue JetBlue
They've got a serious design flaw, unless they can prove that something unforseeable hit and damaged the gear on the runway or in the air during take off.

$100,000 for each passenger, I say!

27. The mechanics will definately get their fair share of the blame!
It's not necessarily the pilot's fault. I'm surprised that the mechanics didnt notice the design flaw after take off.

6. JetBlue is one of the only decent airlines out there.
Edited on Wed Sep-21-05 11:42 PM by BrklynLiberal
After 9/11, they sealed the door to the front of the plane the NEXT DAY..no excuses, no stories. All the other airlines were hemming and hawing.
I go out of my way to fly JetBlue when ever I can. I have found their service and their personnel to be exceptional.
That landing was incredible and everyone involved deserves kudos and recognition for a job well done...way above and beyond.

7. Hello, my dear Floog......
I don't think that a lawsuit here is a good idea, without a whole lot more information...

If there was negligence, then yes...

But not otherwise......

Oh boy, I hate to argue with lawyers!

I'm scared.......:scared:

J/K......:loveya:

11. Design flaw in the front landing gear.
Unless something unforseeable hit it. That's negligence, to me.

Don't make me spank you.

10. This is probably...
The first real "accident" on an Airbus and everyone was saved today. They are the SAFESTS planes. Unlike all the fatal accidents on Boeings it shows that one can rely on good pilots and excellent planes.

Except for that little LANDING GEAR problem.

25. Not the first real accident
Edited on Thu Sep-22-05 12:12 AM by ChoralScholar
AA 587 that crashed into Rockaway beach when the rudder flew off, was an Airbus A300. 260 killed there.

But, they are comparatively very safe, I'll give you that.

Although I suspect it is because they are much newer than the 727s, 737s and MD-80s that crash all the time.

ON EDIT: added link to crash
