With my luck I'll have a collision with a manatee coming up for air

7. Nah, haven't you ever tubed before? |
|
You keep your head up and the pull of the boat kind of lifts the front part of your body up!

11. Yeah, I've tubed before |
|
and not the leisurely kind of ride, more like the mechanical bull variety. Guess I'm just wondering what would happen when someone wiped out in one of those things.

10. I don't see it as anymore dangerous than regular |
|
tubing. Unless you get tangled up somehow in the tube. But that could happen with any type of water sport/recreation. There certainly are risks that follow anything like that, but damn, I bet it is fun!

12. It's the shape that gives me pause |
|
If I'm not mistaken, in a regular tube, you flip and that's it - this looks like it would almost force you into a face-to-face confrontation with the water if something goes wrong.
I could be wrong, though.

16. Well usually people will let go when |
|
something is happening. Your hands just give. And as soon as you let go, the momentum almost completely stops while the boat still is going for a second anyway. I do see what you mean though!
