Computer help need from a Tech (and MCSE) |
|
:) ...I had a customer ask me today if there is a way to have pictures open in E-Mail when sent. (He has a business and wants to send email to his clients with little gifs or jpgs that will open up when the recipient opens their mail.)
I told him "I don't think so, as that would allow .EXE files to open also...opening the "door" to all kinds of viruses and Trojans"
Was I right?
I'm putting this (also) in the computer help forum....

1. I think some email programs have a way of embedding pictures |
|
Some emails I have received have pictures open when I open the mail. It could be html though.

3. He could send the email as html |
|
Most clients support that today. If the picture is sent as an attachment (as opposed to linking it), it should display in most email clients.
