I just spoke to Not_Giving_Up

She is out of Houston. She left at 8 this morning with her husband, kids and critters.

Apparently she took back roads and was out of Houston in 5 hours. She is hearing from folks that it is taking upwards of 12 hours to get out of Houston.

She says she is out in the middle of nowhere, and all the hotels are booked. She had booked a room in Kansas, and will not be able to make it there, due to time...

Do you know where she ended up? I hope it's far away from the hurricane strength winds.....

I hope that Khaskha got out too..he was in Houston...

Actually Bike Writer told me yesterday that they had plans to go somewhere safe and in time...I hope he did..

4. UPDATE

Just got off the phone with Not_Giving_Up, she has been on the road for 14 hours, and will be settling down for the night in Weatherford, TX wish is just west of Dallas.
