This new McCartney CD is damn good. . .
Something for every fan -- experimental stuff, parts that sound like White Album revisited (complete w a John song and a George Song. A song where Paul thinks he's Burt Bacharach, crazed Psychadelic instrumentals. Silly stuff and big themes. . .

My fifth time through and I am liking it.

1. It's excellent
Getting better all the time with repeated listens. The producer, Nigel Goodrich, kicked ass, which is what McC's needed for a long time (IMO).

4. I was glad Goodrich took away Paul's band and put him on his own.

He always seems to do better solo than w a band (well, except for the Beatles one).

A lot of these songs speak really personally to me. . .

3. We've had a great year musically -- between the Stones, Brian Wilson's
2 CDs and now this McCartney "Chaos & Creation."

<Hey, we geezers need to stick together>

from the new CD:

"You and me
Side by Side
We know how to change the world. . ."

5. Check out
the (not so new now) Van Morrison's "Magic Time." I'm listening to it right now, and he's better than ever.

We DID change the world, remember?

11. I just read a biography of Bono
He's a very, very interesting guy. They all are, really. And, you know, I think their latest album was pretty terrific, but then, I'm a geezer.

Yeah, I think bands like U2 will survive and prevail like the Rolling Stones have. So will R.E.M., John Mellencamp, and I just forgot what we were talking about.

Hey. I'm a geezer.

<wink>

10. It's called an "ambigram".
Lots of other examples to be found on Google.

12. "Nixon"
His name read the same upside-down.

That's how I knew he was Satan.

My real name has a total of fourteen letters - there are seven sets of dupicate letters, each set comprised of different letters. It's a real trick that's won me more free drinks in bars than I can recall. Oddly enough, men spot it more readily than women.
