Dogs who tip over and rummage through the kitchen garbage bag/can

Today, my sister's yellow lab got into the kitchen garbage bag, found a half-empty jar of grape jelly, and proceeded to smear half my sister's apartment with purple, grape jelly. "Angel's" face was completely slicked back with the jelly.

When we used to have a Westie, he would routinely tip over our kitchen garbage in the quest for the tuna fish can, and then turn into Cujo when we tried to get it away from him.
