(here's a collage of some. please ignore the dude in camo)

Basically we have white tailed deer, wild hogs, cows, hawks, owls, snakes (water moccasin, copperhead, and rattlesnake are the poisonous ones), eagles, catfish, squirrels (grey and red), bobcats, fox, opossum, armadillos, skunks, etc.

I came in close contact with one one time, and he made sure to show me his teeth. My dog was trying to attack something so I went to check it out. There was this mean looking possum staring at me.:scared:

21. I have some stray cats that hang around that I feed
and every once in a while, I'll find a possom has chased them off and is eating the food. :scared:

Facts

Collared Peccary is the only wild, native, pig-like animal
found in the United States.

The Collared Peccary, also known as the Javelina, Tayaussa
or the Musk Hog.

They are called Javelina because of their razor-sharp tusks,
Spanish for javelin or spear.

You may smell a peccary before you see it.

The prickly pear is ideal food for the Collared
Peccary due to its high water content.

Collared Peccary have poor eyesight and good hearing.
