Fancy restaurants
Edited on Fri Sep-23-05 03:31 PM by mvd
Fancy would include most of the ones reviewed by Craig LaBan in the Philly Inquirer. Le Bec-Fin would be one of course.

Which do you find good, and which do you find overrated? I'm seeing if there's one that my sensitive stomach can take.

3. In that case, may I recommend:
The Plaza III in Kansas City. If you are ever this way. I personally gurantee it to be the best steak you will ever have in your life.

Not exactly the parisian, shi-shi type restaurant, but I assure you a fine dining experience.

I take clients there often when they come to KC and it impresses every time.

The American Restaurant in KC is incredible as well. I believe it has the only female Grand Somellier and there are only around 10-12 total in the world (I believe) to hold that title, men included. Read it once upon a time, so facts may be slightly fuzzy, but you get the point.

8. They should all be vaporized
I can't think of much worse than dressing up, piddly portions and a massive check.

Two of the finest dining experiences I've ever had. Lovely harbor view, perfect service.
