She was able to get a motel room for free, in exchange for telling her story to the motel owner, so they could post it on the website for the municipality in which they are staying.
She is not sure if she is going to leave tomorrow to go back, or wait another 1-2 days. It depends upon whether the gas stations have gas.
She did say that her home is okay, one of her neighbors was unable to get out of Houston. Her home has electric and everything, so all is well for her and her family!

....actually: HURRAY! (her posts just prior to her evacuation haunted my thoughts, especially this: "Rita is heading right for my home!!!").... I have been ghosting in on your updates, thank you for these.
