Went to go see the elf this evening... |
|
With my other half. Wasn't thrillrd about going to see this movie. It has Ed Asner, James Caan & Bob Newhart in it.
I have to say, after seeing the movie, I will go back to see it again before Christmas. It's great!!!

I can't BELIEVE it's out so early--what's up with that (well, I know they thought it was going to be huge, and they wanted it to make money for as long as possible)?
I can't bring myself to go to see it before the Christmas season, so I keep saying all the one liners from the trailer, LOL.
I like to whisper too!

I've heard he's tapped to play Ignatious J. Reilly in a movie adaptation of Confederacy of Dunces (with Soderberg directing!) I almost peed my pants every time he was on the screen in Old School. Playing Dust in the Wind at Blue's funeral, hitting himself with the tranquilizer dart, streaking... too damn funny.

he strikes me as the kind of actor who would be watchable in even the worst movie. There's just something so amiable about him.
I intend to check out ELF at the dollar theater.

7. Is it better than A Christmas Story? |
|
I've probably watched that movie 50 times and I never tire of it.

12. "Elf" is a movie critic's dream... |
|
It gives them a chance to make jokes like "elf-indulgent" and "elf-centered". (No, I didn't write them...heard it on the radio.)
