No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to die!
The entire James Bond collection (widescreen, of course) has magically appeared on my hard drive. (Thank you, bit torrent!) Looks like an extremely wasted week coming up for me...

1. Hmmm...sounds to me like a wonderful
way to waste a week...only it wouldn't be wasting it!

Have a blast, and don't forget to come out now and then for food, bathing, and like that......

:hi:

3. There is only ONE Bond!
Connery! The rest of those pretty-boys can take a powder.

7. Bite your tongue.
All of the other Bonds are equally special in my mind. Connery only gets the credit and love because he was first. If it was George Lazenby in Doctor No, From Russia with Love, and Goldfinger, he'd be the one everybody gets nostalgic about.

There, I said it.

10. Dalton was the ONLY one to play the role as read in Flemings' books.
By far, the ONLY one.

Connery is okay, but he's often a bit wooden in his approach.

"For Your Eyes Only" and, to a lesser extent, "The Spy Who Loved Me" are the only two Moores worth considering. Especially FYEO as that is another Flemingesque type story, and Roger Moore (despite his arguments against the cold portrayal) did an A+++ job in playing the role so hard-edged.

And if only Goldeneye was as gritty and gripping as the theatrical trailer, I would have been able to give Brosnan a good mention too. (Worse, all of his remaining flicks go downhill too...)

As for On Her Majesty's Secret Service, a fine film plotwise let down by playboy-ogling un-actor George Lazenby. Ugh.

6. It's THE quintessential James Bond movie line.
The only others are "Bond. James Bond." and "Shaken, not stirred.".
