Have you ever heard that cracking open a double yoked egg
brings good luck?

I had fried eggs for dinner, and one of them had two yolks.

It sure looked strange

1. There is a restauraunt in Tucson
that says they sell double yolk eggs - not sure if true, but if you order two you sure get 4 yolks.

The Hungry Fox - I think around 22nd and Kolb? Near the Kon Tiki for you Tucson folks.

18. Me Too!
I cracked open a double yolked boiled egg (I was so fascinated that I took a picture of it). Two years later I had twins. Sadly they were premature and didn't make it. That's been 28 years ago and I still get weepy on their birthday.

5. I once had a dozen eggs
crate and every single one of them was double yolked! I think it must have been packaged that way, but talk about amazing, one way or another!

They must have cancelled each other out for some reason. I never had much luck with them.

17. Some large breeds of chicken such as Cornish-Rock...
are prone to be double-yoked. We used to raise them and got double-yoked in most of their eggs.

19. They used to be pretty common, but the techniques
for grading eggs these days 'catches' them and they get pulled..They probably end up in the mixes and stuff we buy..

Double yolks are a bonus.. Love 'em :)

It was your lucky day:)
